Healdton- Graveside services for Danny Kaye (Ripley) Anderson, 75, of Healdton, are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at Mount Olive Cemetery in Healdton with Rev. Donald Staggs officiating. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Gray Funeral Home at Healdton.

Danny Kaye was born August 2, 1946, in Hollis, OK to Mr. David George Ripley and Mrs. Gracie Ruth (Hunter) Ripley. She departed this life Thursday, July 21, 2022, at her home in Healdton.

Danny Kaye spent most of her school years in Hollis, OK and some in Chicago, IL. She went on to become an LPN, receiving her certification from the Western Oklahoma State College in Altus, OK, graduating top three in her class. Danny Kaye married Mr. James Archer and to this union they were blessed with three children, later she married Mr. Jimmy Baldwin and they were blessed with another son. January 7, 1980, Danny Kaye married the love of her life, Ray Anderson, in Wellington, TX and welcomed two more children into her family which made it complete. Danny Kaye worked in the nursing field for more than 40 years and was very passionate about taking care of people. She loved gardening, do-it-yourself projects, talking on the phone to her family and friends. Danny Kaye had a passion for traveling, which she did plenty of while driving truck across country with Ray. She loved animals especially her special pet, Lil Bit. Danny Kaye loved to read and was known for her speed-reading ability and was overall just a hard worker.

Preceding her in death are her parents; father to her son, Jimmy Baldwin; daughter, Elizabeth Archer; siblings, David Paul Ripley, Anthony Ripley, Priscilla Bouley, and Georgia Bell; nephews, Christopher Ripley and Tony Ripley.

Survivors include her husband, Ray Anderson of the home; children, James Archer of Healdton, Shannon Studeman and husband Ricky of Lone Grove, Jimmy Baldwin of Healdton, Danielle Ganaway and husband Anthony of Healdton, and Richard Don Anderson and wife Konni of Altus, OK; sister, Sherry Jo Calhoun and husband Carl of Cresson, TX; grandchildren, Cris Byers, Lindsey Velasquez and husband Corey, Brianna Studeman, Jamie Gaither, James Archer and wife Rae Ann, Danny Archer and wife Ashley, Tyler Norton, Josh Norton, Allie Baldwin, Trisha Hughes, Raine Anderson, Taylor Anderson, and Hayden Anderson; 13 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Honorary Bearers are her grandsons.

Family visitation will be from 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday evening at Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Healdton.
