Danny Craig Mutziger

Wilson - Remembrance services for Mr. Danny Craig Mutziger, 68, of Healdton are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jason Williams officiating.

Danny was born on Sept. 19, 1951 at Texarkana, Texas to the late Mr. Gifford Francas Mutziger and Mrs. Doris E. (Miller) Mutziger. He departed this life on Monday July 27, 2020 at his home in Healdton.

Danny was raised in Houston, marrying the former Ms. Mary Ruth Harris on Feb. 4, 1972. They made their home in this area in 1972, where Danny gained employment with Bullard's Oilfield Service at the Healdton/ Wilson Y. Later he began working for J.D. Lewis as a heavy equipment operator and mechanic. He retired from there at the age of 62, after many years of employment.
In his younger years, Danny enjoyed taking his family camping on many trips to the Blue River area. Most recently he enjoyed watching old westerns and fixing old cars.

Preceding him are his parents; his wife Mary, Nov. 27,1996 and his son Danny Mutziger, II on Feb. 7, 2004.

Survivors include his daughters, Sanny J. McLaughlin of El Dorado, AR and Cyndi Feldman and husband Marty of Frisco, TX; son, William "Willie" Mutziger of Healdton; sisters, Shirley Goodgine and Donna Foster, both of Houston, TX; brothers, Mike Miller and Randy Miller, both of Spring, TX; other close family who helped raise Danny, Ruthie and Otis Dale of Waskom,Texas; 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; numerous other family and a host of friends.
