Curtis E. Williams

Orr- Graveside Services for Mr. Curtis E. Williams, 80, of Wilson are scheduled for 2:00 PM Wed. Nov. 4, 2015 at the Orr Cemetery of Orr with Bro. Juan Williams officiating. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.

Curtis was born August 19, 1935 at Cheek, OK to late Mr. Winford Williams and Mrs. Flora Mae (Pierce) Williams. He departed this life Monday morning Nov. 2, 2015 at his home in Wilson.

Curtis was raised in this area attending school at Rexroat. Following his education he immediately began a career in the Oilfield. He and the former Mary Carroll were united in marriage on June 11, 1955 at the Jefferson and Love county line. Curtis worked for Chevron for 30 years, retiring in 1996. They were residents of Fox until moving back to Wilson just four years ago. Curtis always enjoyed the company of his family and friends.

Preceding him in death were his Parents; 2 sisters, Dirris Gazaway and Eunice Max; 2 brothers, Buddy Williams and Doyal Williams.

Survivors include his loving wife Mary of the home; son, Kenny Williams and wife Cheryl of Springer; granddaughter, Misty Boswell and husband Chris of Springer; great grandchildren, Paityn Boswell and Easton Boswell; sister, Armentha Martin of Wilson; brother, Dwight Williams and wife Catherine and sister in law, Sue Williams all of Healdton; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of cousins and other family.

Casket bearers are Dennis Hawkins, Donnie Hawkins, Dale Carroll, Steve Carroll, Chris Boswell and David Williams.

Honorary bearers are Sammy Lyle, Kenneth King, Dan Arnold and Mark Gazaway.

Family visitation will begin at 12:00 noon Wednesday, prior to the service at Alexander Funeral Home Chapel of Wilson.
