Clarence Larue

Graveside services for Clarence “Carl” LaRue are scheduled for 10 AM Thursday, July 21, 2016 at the Keller Cemetery with Larry Mitchell officiating. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.


Carl was born June 29, 1935 in Gainesville, Texas to Mr. Harvey H. LaRue and Oma Lee (Johnson) LaRue. He passed from this life on July 17, 2016 in Mesquite, Texas.


Carl was raised in the Gainesville and Ardmore area. He married Beatrice “Bea” Knutson on July 30, 1962 in Snyder, Texas. They moved to Turpin and lived there before making their home together at Lake Murray. She preceded him in death on June 24, 2001. Carl then moved to Liberal, KS, recently moving to Mesquite, TX. He worked as an industrial engineer working for PAMCO and later Dunlap/Hanover of Liberal, KS. Carl loved fishing and honey do’s.


He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Isaac; and infant son.


Carl is survived by his daughters, Faith Welker and husband Bailey of Liberal, KS and Carla Fox and husband Mark of Mesquite, TX; sons, Michael LaRue of Quinlan, TX, Richard H. LaRue of Quinlan, TX and Mark LaRue of TX; he is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and other family.



A viewing is scheduled for 9 AM prior to the service at the cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.alexanderfuneralhome.org.
