Christopher Derrell Wayne Mapp

Lone Grove – Funeral Services for Mr. Christopher “Chris” Derrell Wayne Mapp, 32, of Lone Grove are scheduled for 11:00 am Wed. August 19, 2015 at Alexander Funeral Home Chapel of Wilson with Rev. David Gardner officiating. Interment will follow at the Ringling Memorial Cemetery in Ringling.

Chris was born September 2, 1982 at Ada to Mr. Alford Richard Addline “Ricky” Mapp and Mrs. Anglia Jeree (Smith) Mapp. He departed this life Friday, August 14, 2015 at Oklahoma City.

Chris was raised at Lone Grove graduating from High School there. He attended college at the Oklahoma Christian University and remained a resident of Oklahoma City until just recently moving back to Lone Grove. Chris worked as a property manager for several years. He enjoyed computers and had one of the most beautiful singing voices. When Chris was young he devoted a lot of his time to New Hope Freewill Baptist Church in Lone Grove.

Survivors include his mother Angie Mapp and Larry Covey of Healdton; father, Ricky Mapp of Tishomingo; Sister, Monica Roberts of Ardmore; nieces, Sydney Joe and Makala Joe ; nephew Kristopher Kane Roberts; numerous other family and friends.

Casket Bearers are Larry Young, Clint Hinchey, Kenny Pickelsimer , Rick Sloan, Larry Hoklotubbe and Tom Smith.
