Charlotte Sue Fore

Healdton – Celebration of Life Services for Charlotte Sue Fore, 71, of Healdton are scheduled 11:00 AM Saturday March 14, 2015 at the First Missionary Baptist Church of Healdton with Pastor Kevin Pridemore officiating. Interment will follow at the Mt. Olive Cemetery of Healdton. Services are under the direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.

Sue was born June 8, 1943 at Ardmore to Mr. Zack Loree Fore and Mrs. Elvia Willie (Nordman) Fore. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wed evening March 11, 2015 at Oklahoma City.

Sue was raised at Fox attending school there. She graduated High School in 1961 and then attended college at Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education and soon started her career in education. She first taught elementary school at Port Lavaca, TX for two years and then onto Burkburnett, TX where she taught 5th grade education for the next 35 years retiring in 2002. She also taught at Durant during the summers with the Indian Workshop every summer and also furthered her education by attending Midwestern college in Wichita Falls, TX.

After retirement Sue moved to Healdton with her Mom and loved volunteering at the Summer Reading program at the Healdton Library. She enjoyed spending time with her family and always had deep love for everyone and all animals. She was a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church of Healdton.

Preceding her in death is her Father – Zack Fore in 1987.

Survivors include her Mother Elvia “Billie” Fore of the home; Sisters, Regina Engling and husband Bill of Mustang, Vali Hayes and husband Ronnie of Healdton and Becky Jones and husband Lesley of Ratliff City; Brother, Billy Zack Fore and wife Barbara of Healdton; canine companion Tig of the home; Many nieces and nephews whom she considered her children and a host of other relatives and friends.

Casket Bearers are Jeremy Jones, Jon Jones, Ronnie Allen Hayes, II, Chris Fore, Todd Herman, Jamie Neeld and Kyle Hill.

Honorary Bearers are Great Nephews.

Family visitation will be from 6-8 pm Friday evening at the funeral home in Wilson.
