Charles Ray Strebeck

September 19, 1956 — February 6, 2024

Healdton - Graveside Services with Military honors for Mr. Charles Ray Strebeck, 67 of Healdton are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Monday, February 12, 2024 at McAlester Cemetery with Rev. Doug Hickman officiating.  Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Healdton.  


Charles was born September 19, 1956 in Ardmore, OK to the late Mr. Ishmer D. Strebeck and Mrs. Lillian Bernice Strebeck.  He departed from this life on February 6, 2024 at his home in Healdton.  


Charles was raised in Ardmore, attending and graduating from Ardmore High School.  He worked for Oklahoma Natural Gas as a welder and was passionate musician.  Charles had played in several bands, writing his own songs.  He married the former Angel Sorrels on August 14, 2000 at Gainesville, TX and together they made their home in Lone Grove moving to Healdton five years ago.  Charles enjoyed music, fishing, his dogs, and spending time with his family.   He was a simple man with a pure heart. 


Preceding him in death were his parents; son, Charles in 2005; grandson, Brandon Brown in 2018; and a sister Ruby Riner. 


Charles is survived by his wife, Angel of the home; children, Coy Agan of MO, Chanlyn Haggard and husband Don of Ardmore, Jeremy Strebeck and wife Alisha of Wilson, Andriea Moss and husband Allen of Wilson, and Elizabeth Pearson of Ardmore; sister, Bernice Alverz of TX; 9 grandchildren, Jacob VanBuskirk, Blake Brown, Jillian Fitzgerald and husband Dacoda, Abby Jenkins, AJ Moss, Aaron Moss, Lajaden Pearson, Latraven Pearson, and Lamarcus Pearson; 1 great grandson, Waylon Fitzgerald; and by a host of other family and friends. 


Visitation will be held Sunday evening from 5-7 P.M. at Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Healdton.
