Charles Milton Sanders

Wilson – No Services are scheduled for Mr. Charles Milton Sanders, 65, formerly of Healdton, who died Friday November 25, 2011 at Oklahoma City. Arrangements are under the care of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.

Charles was born July 12, 1946 at Wilson to the late Mr. Dee William Sanders and Mrs. Katie Ophelia (Roberts) Sanders. He was raised in Wilson as the youngest of nine children. In 1966 he married and moved to Ardmore where soon became employed for the City of Ardmore. There he operated a Road Grader and other equipment until he retired in 1990. Then he moved to Healdton and lived there for twelve years.

Charles was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed many camping trips with his family at Butcher Pen near Tishomingo. He was a past member of the Northwest Assembly of God Church now known as the Crystal Rock Cathedral.

Preceding him in death is his Parents, Daughter – Tina, Grandson – Blaine, Infant Brother – Billy, and Brothers – Royce and Wayne.

Survivors include a Son, Greg Sanders; Sisters, Wanda Tilley and husband Herbert of Sapulpa, and Louise Young and husband Bud of Wilson; Brothers, Merle Sanders of Weatherford, TX, Bobby Sanders of Whitney, TX, Hughs Sanders and Clint Sanders and wife Norma, both of Ardmore. Two Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
