Charles Michael Henley

Healdton- Services for Charles Michael “Mikey” Henley are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Friday, December 2, 2022, at the Shell Street Church of Christ at Healdton with Danny Huntsman officiating. Interment will follow at Dixie Cemetery in Stephens County. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home at Healdton.

Mikey was born October 16, 1955, at Wilson, OK to the late Mr. Robert Henley and Mrs. Lois Mae (Norton) Henley. He departed this life Friday, November 25, 2022, at Healdton.

Mikey was raised primarily in Healdton. He joined the United States Army in 1972, and he served honorably as a mechanic. Mikey was released from active duty in 1976 and returned home. He married the former Ms. Donna Fondren on December 17, 1976, at Loco, OK and they made their home in Healdton. Mikey was employed within the Tire Building Sector at Michelin for over 30 years at which time he retired. He loved attending the movie theater and concerts. Mikey was a member of the Shell Street Church of Christ. He was a loving husband, father, and papaw.

Preceding him in death are his parents, Robert and Lois Henley.

Mikey is survived by his wife Donna Henley of the home; daughter, Jeannie Rounds and husband Elliott of Okeechobee, FL; Brothers, Robert Henley, Jr. and wife Paula of Meredith, NH and Dennis Henley of Wilson; grandchildren, Ella Rounds and Everett Rounds both of Okeechobee, FL; numerous other nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Glenn Stepp, Kerry Don Stepp, David Engelhardt, Montana Fondren, Keith Miles, and Tuffy Fondren.

Honorary bearers are Mike Fondren, Zachary Stepp, and Cless Fondren.

Family visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6-8 P.M. at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel at Healdton.
