Charles E. Henley

Charles was born Sept. 9, 1938 in Wilson, OK to Albert and Essie (Jones) Henley. He departed this life April 29, 2010 at Midway Life Hospital in Dallas, TX at the age of 71.

He married the love of his life, Virginia Hodgeson July 29, 1957, to this union; two daughters were born Rebecca Henley Smith and Sonya Henley Taylor. He loved to garden, travel and hunt. He was a computer whiz. He could fix anything and everything. He enjoyed life to the fullest, he and his wife bought an Auto Parts store when they were young and worked in it together for many years. They sold it and opened their own real estate company selling and appraising real estate. He had a heart of gold and loved helping others; he was never too busy to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. He will be loved and missed by all who knew him.

He leaves behind his beloved wife Virginia of the home, two daughters Rebecca and husband Terry Smith of Kaufman, TX, Sonya and husband Larry Taylor of Scurry, TX. Five Grandchildren, Chris Smith and Keisha Smith, Logan, Loran and Lyndon Taylor, one great grandchild Luke Edward Smith. His Mother, Essie Henley, of Wilson, 2 Sisters, Lillie Inselmen of Wilson, Myrtle and Doyale Pinson of Lone Grove, One Uncle, Aaron Jones of Euless, TX.

He was preceded in death by his dad Albert Henley, his brother in law Bill Inselmen, his grandparents Charles and Myrtle Henley and Sid and Mary Jones and several Aunts and Uncles.
