Funeral Services for Mr. Charles “Chock” Franklin Flynn, 76, of Wilson, Oklahoma are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 6, 2013 at Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson, Oklahoma with Rev. Raymond Norton officiating. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.
Chock was born November 16,1937 at Seminole, Oklahoma to Mr. Clarence Theodore Flynn and Mrs. Frankie Ardell (Bryant) Flynn. He passed from this life Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at Healdton, Oklahoma.
Chock was raised in Wilson, Oklahoma the majority of his life moving there at the age of 4 years old. He married Betty June Rice on February 2, 1957 at Sulphur, Oklahoma. They made their home together in Wilson where he spent the remainder of his life. Chock was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving honorably at the end of the Korean Conflict. He worked for Carter County District III as a Heavy Equipment Operator retiring from there. Chock loved hunting, fishing and watching the Dallas Cowboys.
He is preceded in death by his Parents; Brothers, Leo Flynn and Skeet Flynn ; Sister, Billie.
Survivors include his Wife, Betty June Flynn of the home; Daughters, Rhonda Taylor and John Ivy of Valliant, OK., Donna Gazaway and husband Mark of Wilson, OK.; Son , Bobby Flynn and wife Annalee of Wilson, OK. ; Sister, Mary McElwee of Visalia, CA.; 6 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren; Numerous other Family and Friends.
Pallbearers are Mark Gazaway, Bobby Vails, Johnny Richard, Lee Anderson, James Flynn and John Flynn.
Honorary Bearers are Billy Floyd Hacker, Ray Howard and Arlo Kimes.
Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Thursday, December 5, 2013 at the Alexander Funeral Home Chapel of Wilson, Oklahoma.
