Memorial service for Cassie Marie Barnes, 42, of Chickasha, is scheduled for 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at the Glory Bound Church in Marlow, OK with David Woods officiating. Services are under the direction of Cassie’s family.
Cassie was born March 19, 1982, at Pensacola, FL, to Mr. Victor Ray Barnes and Mrs. Earlene Kay (Alexander) Marshall. She departed this life Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at Norman, OK.
A loving mother and a dedicated individual, Cassie's life was shaped by her experiences growing up in a military family. Due to the demands of her parents' careers in the United States Navy, she moved extensively throughout her childhood, which instilled in her a resilience and adaptability that defined her character. In her later years, Cassie resided in Marlow, where she devoted herself wholeheartedly to raising her children. Their happiness was her priority, and she made countless sacrifices to ensure they were well cared for and supported. As her children grew older, Cassie transitioned into the workforce, never losing sight of what truly mattered: her family. She was a woman of many talents and interests. Cassie found joy in gardening and was known for her creative flair in arts and crafts, capturing the hearts of those around her with her ability to craft and even undertake carpentry projects. Her playful spirit shone through her love for reading romantic novels, watching films, and sharing laughter with others. With a wonderful sense of humor, she brightened the lives of those who knew her, adding warmth and joy to everyday moments. Halloween was a particular favorite time of year for Cassie, as she relished in creating a haunted trail for her children and their friends, ensuring that every spooky detail brought excitement and delight. Her commitment to making her children's experiences memorable was a testament to the depth of her love and devotion.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Earlene Marshall; grandparents, Gary Barnes, Bill Alexander, and Bertha Morris.
Survivors include her husband, Justin Allen of the home; children, Bryan Crouch and fiancé Jaedan Johnson, Shasta Carpenter, and Dean Barnes all of Chickasha; granddaughter, Leighton Crouch; sister, Dusty Earnhart and husband Michael of Bivins, TX; brother, Jayson Barnes and wife Tiffany of Marlow; father, Victor Barnes of Bivins, TX; stepdad, Larry Marshall of Bivins, TX; nephews and nieces, Robert, Terri, Ashley, Shane, and Zoey; numerous other family and friends.
