Mr. Carroll “Buck” Wayne Kale
Wilson- Funeral Services for Retired Master Sergeant, Mr. Carroll “Buck” Wayne Kale, 75, is scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Monday June 8, 2009 at Alexander Funeral Chapel in Wilson with Rev. Leo Potts officiating. Interment will follow with full military honors from Ft. Sill at Bomar Pt. Cemetery in Wilson. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home in Wilson.
Mr. Carroll Wayne Kale was born in Dillard, November 10, 1933 to the late Mr. Henry Ace, Sr. and Mrs. LuRena (Cheadle) Kale. He departed this life Thursday June 4, 2009 at Norman, OK
Buck was born in Dillard, but was raised at Healdton and Dundee graduating from Healdton High School in 1952. He then attended Murray State College in Tishomingo receiving his associate degree in general studies. He and the former Ms. Juanita “Nethia” Young were united in marriage March 22, 1959 in Hugo.
Buck was a retired veteran of the United States Army serving honorably for 23 years. He held two tours during the Korean Conflict, also serving at Alaska, White Sands Missile Range and at Ft. Sam Houston. After retiring from the Army as a Master Sergeant, he worked in Civil Service at Ft. Sill, OK living at Lawton.
During Bucks later years, he dedicated himself to caring for his loving wife Nethia . They shared many wonderful years together until her passing on April 2, 2008. Since then, he has enjoyed his family and grandchildren and also cherished reserving the tile of “Uncle Buck” by his many wonderful nieces and nephews. He will be remembered for his kind affection for others, being a terrific dancer and a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather.
In addition to his wife also preceding him in death is his Parents, 4 brothers, Wilson Duane, Jack, Claywood D., and Kenneth M. Kale, and 2 sisters, Ramona and Helen.
Survivors include his Daughter, Lori Kale, and Son Lance Kale, both of Lawton. 1 Granddaughter, Kristian Ramsey, 4 Great Grandchildren, Vallie, Regina, Adam, and Brayden. Sister, Melba Reid of Gene Autry. 2 Brothers, Henry Kale and wife Marsha of Ardmore and Doug Kale and wife Jesse of Gene Autry. Numerous other relative and friends.
Pallbearers will be James Charles White, Michael Morrison, Pete Young, Lance Kale, David Young, Joe Don Stewart, and Mark Alan Kale.
A time of family visitation will be from 5 to 7pm Sunday at the funeral home in Wilson.
