Carolyn Jean Glenn

Wilson - Funeral Services for Mrs. Carolyn Jean (Taylor) Glenn, 73, of Wilson are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Friday, September 24, 2021 at Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Wilson with her niece Tammy (Taylor) Imhof officiating. Interment will follow to Hewitt Cemetery.

Carolyn was born December 29, 1947 in Wilson, OK to the late Mr. Enoch Arlon Taylor and Mrs. Willie Joyce (Williams) Taylor. She departed from this life on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 in Healdton.

Carolyn was raised in Wilson where she graduated from Wilson High School. She married Mr. Ray Glenn and they were blessed with two children, Brad and Brenda. Carolyn worked for the Healdton Public Schools from 1980 to 2018 where she retired as their cafeteria cook. She loved being with her family and going to her grandkids sporting events. Carolyn enjoyed fishing, crossword puzzles, watching westerns, Dallas Cowboys and Tiger Woods play golf.

Preceding her in death are her parents.

Carolyn is survived by her children, Brad Glenn and wife Dawn of Houston, TX and Brenda Idleman and husband Mark of Wilson; siblings, Barbara Brown, Donnie Taylor and wife Kim, Vicki O'Daniel, Gwen Howell and Rhonda Stearns and husband Kevin all of Wilson; grandchildren, Justyn Idleman and wife Danielle, Kyle Glenn and wife Abby, Kelsey Idleman, Emily Glenn, Caden Idleman, Juliana Glenn, and Aurora Glenn; great grandchildren, Kynsler Idleman, Embree Hollar, Cooper Idleman, and Mac Glenn; and by a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Justyn Idleman, Jeremy Thompson, Michael Paul O'Daniel, Chris O'Daniel, Arlon O'Daniel and Carl Bishop.

Honorary bearers will be Trevor Overby, Jay Norton, Terry Norton, and Steven Thompson.
