Healdton –Funeral Services for Mr. Carl Lee Wright is scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, June 8, 2018 at the Living Word Tabernacle of Ratliff City with Bro. Eugene Christian officiating. Interment will follow to Graham Cemetery. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home in Ratliff City.

Carl was born October 8, 1963 to the late Mr. Mickey Neil Wright and Mrs. Glenna Gail (Simpkins) Wright at Ardmore. He departed from this life on Monday, June 4, 2018 at the OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City.

Carl was raised in Fox graduating from High School in 1981. After graduating, he joined the Army National Guard where he excelled as a marksman and was encouraged to attend Ranger school. Carl worked in the oilfield most of his working years and has been employed with Key Energy of Countyline since 1994. Most currently, he was working as a Rig Supervisor. Carl married the former Ms. Pandora Brooks on September 24, 1995 at the Lake Murray Chapel. In his younger years, Carl enjoyed riding bulls and broncs. He liked playing golf, fishing, and spending time with his grandkids. Carl attended the Graham Baptist Church as a young man.

Preceding him in death are his mother, Glenna on November 11, 2002 and father, Mickey on January 12, 2017.

Carl is survived by his wife Pandora of the home; children, Jimmie Wright of Norman, Justin Wright of Healdton, Jessica Wright of Ratliff City, Zena Hammons-Purser and husband Josh of Ringling, and T.R. Hammons also of Ringling; 3 siblings, Ronnie Wright and wife Mary of Ardmore, Bob Wright and wife Karen of Ardmore, and Beth Tolison and husband Artie of Ratliff City; 11 grandchildren; numerous other family and friends.

Casket bearers will be Jimmie Wright, Justin Wright, Deuce Wright, Dacoda Perryman, Robert Davis, Mickey Mays, B.J. Wright, and Chris Edwards.

Honorary bearers are Ernest Franklin, Ronnie Wright, Bob Wright, all the Key Energy and XTO Coworkers and many other friends.

A family visitation is scheduled for Thursday evening from 6-8 PM at Alexander Funeral Home in Ratliff City.
