Carl Alexander Songayllo

Carl Alexander Songayllo, of Ringling, departed this life on August 30, 2022 at his residence in Ringling at the age of 58 years, 8 months and 24 days.

Cremation services are provided by Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Wilson. The family will have a Celebration of Life at a later date.

Carl was born on December 6, 1963 in Tarrant County, Texas. His parents were the late Mr. Alexander Songayllo, Jr. and Mrs. Sidney Jane (Watt) Songayllo.

Carl grew up in Texas and attended school there. He had moved back to Ringling in 2016 and worked as a supervisor for Michelin Tire Company. He enjoyed rock hunting and flint knapping arrowheads. He loved cars, playing the guitar and going fishing at the Ocean.

Carl is preceded in death by his parents, Alexander and Sidney Songayllo; and an infant child.

He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Sewell and her husband Justin of Wilson and their two children Avel and Maddox Sewell; sisters, Ann Cieri and Martha.
