Calvin Rayburn Snider was born May 27, 1945 to the late Mr. Joseph Henry Snider and Mrs. Hazel Irene (Cook) Snider. He departed this life Monday, February 15, 2010 in Healdton.

Calvin was born in Oklahoma City but moved to Idabel at a young age where he attended school. At age 6 his family moved back to Oklahoma City where he and his family made their home for the next 12 years before moving back to Idabel to care for his mother after his father’s passing. Calvin loved fishing with his dad, playing dominoes and watching classic television especially Andy Griffith.

Preceding him in death are his parents, Joseph and Hazel Snider.

Survivors include his Sister, Betty Elliott and husband Marvin of Wilson, 2 Brothers, Clifton Snider and wife Juanita of Idabel and William Snider and wife Nancy of Bethany, 1 niece, Kelly Spradling and husband Matt of Mustang, 7 nephews, Caleb Spradling and Josh Spradling both of Mustang, Keith Snider and Troy Snider both of Florida, Pepper Snider of Frisco, TX, Christopher Snider of Bethany and Michael Johnson of Wilson. Numerous other family and friends.
