Bradley Con King

Wilson- Funeral Services for Mr. Bradley Con King, 41, are scheduled for 10:00 AM Thursday, August 14, 2014 at the First Baptist Church of Wilson with Brian Baker officiating with Rev. Jason Williams assisting. Interment will follow at the Vernon Family Cemetery. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson, Oklahoma.

Bradley Con King was born September 27, 1972 at Healdton, Oklahoma to Mr. Clifford Eugene King and Mrs. Connie Dianne (Vernon) King . He passed from this life Monday, August 11, 2014 at his home in Lone Grove.

Brad was raised in Wilson and graduated High School there in 1990. He was so very proud to have been named after his two Great Grandpas, Brad Vernon and Con Nipp. Brad had traits like both of these fine men. He loved building anything and loved the country land. He spent many happy hours driving down the country roads and hiking with his kids in the woods and pastures. Brad loved with all his heart especially his family. He worked from the time of his graduation as a carpenter, helping to build many homes in the area. Brad was always a hit with the ladies whose homes he worked on, because he’d learned from daddy that a house done like mama wants is a happy home. He had suffered an injury which prohibited his carpentry, so he started a class in engineering and had in recent months been employed by Fox Engineering in Ardmore. Brad was a very talented , loving man and he will be greatly missed.

He is preceded in death by his Grandpa and Grandma, Melvin “Smooth” E. and Meady Mae Vernon ; Grandpa Edgar D. King; Cousins, Christopher J. Hayes and Cody D. Ponder.

Brad is survived by his Children, Harli King, Gatlin King and Mckinli King; Parents, Clifford E. and Connie D. King of Wilson; Sisters, Brandi Breshears and husband, Aaron of Wilson and Bridgit Vaughn and husband, Jason of Ardmore; Nieces and Nephews, Gage, Cord and Sadi Breshears, Chandler Lemons and wife Katelyn and their daughter Lydia and Bayler Vaughn; Numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins and other Family and Friends.

Pallbearers are Gatlin King, Chandler Lemons, Gage Breshears, Cord Breshears, Danial Vernon, Lee Vernon, Corey Ponder, Mike Vernon, Nick Hayes, Lucas Hayes, Dillon Vernon and Caleb Vernon.

Honorary Bearers are his Friends, Thunder Gaines and Lupe Rogers;Uncles, David Vernon, Dale Vernon, Dennis Vernon, Dean Vernon and James Hayes; Brothers in law, Aaron Breshears and Jason Vaughn.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 13, 2014 from 5-7 PM at Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson, OK.
