Boonhom "Hom" Idleman

November 1, 1943 — January 26, 2018

Wilson –Services for Boonhom “Hom” (Nilkhamphee) Idleman, 74, are scheduled for 4:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 31st, 2018 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses in Healdton, OK with Bro. Bill Hunter officiating. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home and Crematory of Wilson, Oklahoma.


Hom was born Nov 1, 1943 at Ban Chaing, Thailand to the late Mr. Pong Nilkhamphee and Mrs. Boonchan (Supnoiwah) Nilkhamphee. She departed this life on January 26, 2018 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK.


Hom was raised in Thailand and graduated from high school there. She was working as a seamstress at the United States Air Force Base in Udon Thani when she met the love of her life Mr. Thomas E. Idleman. They were married on April 19, 1969 in Thailand. Hom then moved to the United States where they would raise their six daughters.


Mrs. Idleman started working at the age of 14 selling fruit and various other things. She was an entrepreneur at heart and was successful in all her ventures. Hom was a hard worker and was a very determined woman who would not stop until she got the job done. She and Tom owned and operated several different restaurants. She was known for her famous eggrolls and Americanized Asian Cuisine. Hom was a loving mother and grandmother, the love she had for her husband and all of her family was a love bigger than the world itself.


Hom was extremely devout in her beliefs and service to her heavenly father, Jehovah. One of her favorite things to do was go door to door and preach to others about the good news of God’s Kingdom.


Mrs. Idleman is preceded in death by her father, Mr. Pong Nilkhamphee.


She leaves to cherish her memory; husband, Thomas E. Idleman of the home; six daughters, Doungsri Sutthiboon of Ft. Worth, TX, Dawn George and Gus of St. Augustine, FL, Kinnali (Thim) Jordan and Lowell of Sachse, TX, Linda Sue Houchin and Jeff of Ardmore, Tommi Weatherford and Scott of Ardmore, Sherri Brown and Edward of Ardmore; mother, Boonchan Nilkhamphee of Udon Thani, Thailand, sisters, Boonthom Thatthamla of Ft. Worth, TX, Niyom Nilkhamphee of Thailand, Sanquansri “Uan” Bush of Lewisville, TX, and NiNoy Nilkhamphee of Thailand; grandchildren, Sarah Sounavong, Cherry Sounavong, Samantha Spain, Katelyn Thompson, Jourdan Weatherford, Jamy Inglett, Joshua Houchin, D'mitrios Smith, Edric Brown, and Tyler George; five great- grandchildren, Karston Spain, Marley Inglett, Leland Sounavong, Kinsley Houchin, and Ellerie Spain; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.


Serving as Pall Bearers will be Scott Weatherford, Edward Brown, Gus George, Lowell Jordan, Jeff Houchin, Sonthaya Thatthamla.


Honorary Bearers will be her grandchildren.


Visitation will be at the Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 from 5-8 P.M.
