Bonnie was born March 3, 1927 at Ryan, Ok to the late Mr. Wintford Dewbre and Mrs. Josephine (Tyre) Dewbre. She departed this life Friday October 26, 2012 at Oklahoma City.
Bonnie was raised in the Orr and Petersburg communities attending school there. She married Mr. W.J. Farris on January 22, 1943 at Ringling. They resided at numerous other communities but always considered Orr and Ringling their home. Bonnie was always a devoted homemaker for her five children , husband and her Mother Josephine who lived with them while she was ill for some years. Bonnie had a passion for Dancing and Music. She also enjoyed fishing, playing solitaire, and watching sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers. She and W.J. “Dub” has resided permanently in Ringling since 2000. Bonnie held her church member ship at the Courtney Methodist Church.
Preceding her in death are her Parents; 5 Brothers, Jack “Dick”, Ray “R.L.”, Robert “Bob”, John “Chick”, and Charles; Sisters Hazel and Alice and 2 other young siblings.
Survivors include her loving husband W.J. “Dub” Farris of the home; Sons, Dwain Farris of Kenefic, Denny Farris and wife Denise of Tishomingo, and Doug Farris and wife Raye of Ringling; Daughters, Debbie Davis and husband Sammy of Tishomingo and Deanne Curry and husband Buddy also of Tishomingo; 14 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren; Numerous other family and friends.
Pallbearers are Randy Goodman, Matthew Farris, Logan Curry, Breken Eason, James Holt, Ty Eason, Dusty Nelson, and Cecil Williams.
