Bonnell Brown

Graham – Graveside services for Bonnell (Boles) Brown, 74, longtime resident of Graham are scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday, Feb. 15, 2010 at Graham Cemetery with Stephen Melton officiating. Services are under the direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.

Bonnell was born September 25, 1935 at Ringling to the late Mr. Joe V. Boles and Mrs. Lucille (Hudson) Boles. She departed this life Wednesday evening February 10, 2010 at Ardmore.

Bonnell was raised in Ringling attending school there. She married Mr. Loyd Brown April 23, 1952 at Wilson. They shared many wonderful years together making their home at Graham with their son Jerry Loyd. Jerry preceded her in death in 1980. Bonnell owned and operated “Bonnells Gift Shop and Café” in Graham for 40 years. She loved to attend flea markets and to shop at Wal-Mart and also enjoyed worshipping at the Church of Christ. She was a member of the Church of Christ of Ardmore.

Also preceding her in death is her Parents, Mr. Joe V. Boles and Mrs. Lucille (Hudson) Duke, and a sister Jodene Langley.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Mr. Loyd Brown of the home and 1 brother Wayne Boles and wife Shirley of Autreyville, NC. Bother in laws, Glenn Dale Brown and wife Holly Jean of Pruitt City and Nolan Brown and wife Nadine of Graham. Numerous cousins of Ringling and other family and friends.

Casket Bearers are Phillip Brown, Derrick Brown, Derwin Reynolds, Sean McAllister, Glenn Brown and Lee Grant.

Honorary Bearers are Nolan Brown, Dale Blain, Harold Rycroft, and Bill Pheasant.

Family visitation will be Sunday afternoon from 4-6pm at the funeral home in Wilson.
