Bobbye Jean (England) Pender

Immediate Burial services for Bobbye Jean (England) Pender, 87, of Healdton, are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Saturday, December 16, 2023, at the Mount Olive Cemetery in Healdton. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home at Healdton.

Bobbye was born September 25, 1936, at Seminole, OK, to the late Mr. James John England and Mrs. Mattie Lee (Bull) England. She departed from this life Friday, December 15, 2023, at her home, in Healdton.

Bobbye and her family moved to the Healdton area when she was a young girl, where she attended Fox and Healdton Schools. She was the third born of Jim and Pat’s four daughters. Bobbye married the love of her life, Roy Pender, on July 2, 1954, at the Presbyterian Church in Ardmore. The couple made their home in Healdton where they raised their children. Bobbye loved raising her kids and helping raise the grandkids. She was known for having the stereo and the scanner going, warning her family of any news, or bad weather reports that were to be expected in their area. Bobbye was always concerned and looking out for her family.

Preceding her in death are her parents, Jim and Pat; husband, Roy Pender; 3 sisters, Nell Smith, Billie Bolles, and Patsy England; son, Steve Pender; daughter, Alisa Pender; Special family friend, Scott “Will” Hunsaker.

Survivors include her sons, Ricky Pender and wife Jayne of Healdton, Roy Neil Pender of Healdton, and Kegan Pender and wife Darcie of Ardmore; daughter, JeeAnna Polzien and husband Laine of Healdton; grandchildren, Jason, Cooter, Corbin, Cason, Cadence, Grayson, Roselyn, and Kaiden; numerous other family and friends.
