Healdton - Celebration of life services for Mr. Bobby Jake Roberts, 67, of Dundee are scheduled for 10:00 AM Thursday, July 15, 2021 at the Bethel Baptist Church of Healdton with Rev. Mike Johnston officiating. Interment will follow at Dixie Cemetery north of Ringling. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Healdton.
Bobby Jake was born on Nov. 9, 1953 at Comanche to the late Mr. John Jake Roberts and Mrs. Juanita "Nita" H. (Beck) Roberts. He departed this life on Monday, July 12, 2021 at his home in Dundee.
Bobby Jake was a native to this area, residing at Dundee all of his life. He graduated from Healdton High School in 1972. During his high school years he attended Vo- Tech where he received his welding certification. Initially he was employed doing TV Cable installation and then later worked many years doing electrical work for Mike Castello and later Healdton Electric. Most recently he worked as a contractor for Brady's Welding, serving as a Pilot Car transporter, under the title of B&T Pilot Car Services. Bobby Jake always loved being with a crowd cooking BBQ, singing karaoke and visiting with relatives at the Roberts family reunions. He enjoyed being the entertainer for everyone and always looked forward to the next gathering. As a child, he was baptized at the Wirt Baptist Church and was a member of the "The Enjun's Texoma Car Club".
His parents, Jake and Nita Roberts, both preceded him in death.
Survivors include his three daughters, Stacy Cavallo and husband Antonio, Kristy Farris and husband Brent, both of Ardmore and Mikki Roberts-Wilkerson and husband Chris of Healdton; sisters, Barbara Ann Golden and husband Steven of Plain City, OH and Alice Marie Hobbs of Healdton; grandchildren, Vincent, Abi and Olivia Cavallo, Bryce and Brenley Farris, and Ali Wilkerson; special good friend, Kayna Miller of Dundee and his beloved canine pet and favorite child, Tuff of the home; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
Casket bearers are Joe Mac Roberts, Tony Brittain, Jr., Jacob Rose, Dusty Sparks, Paul Fitzgerald and T.J. Nichols.
Honorary bearers are Dink Rose, Freddie Roberts, Audie Roberts, Jimmy Roberts and members of "The Enjuns Texoma Car Club".
Family visitation will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 pm Wed. evening at Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Healdton (580)229-2222.
