Bobbie Mae Morgan

June 21, 1939 — November 12, 2022

Ratliff City - Funeral Services for Mrs. Bobbie Mae (Deal) Morgan, 83 of Fox are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Friday, November 18, 2022, at the Fox Baptist Church with Rev. Carl Taylor officiating.  Interment will follow to Ratliff City Cemetery.  Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Ratliff City. 


Bobbie was born June 21, 1939, in Healdton, OK to Mr. Robert Leon Deal, Sr. and Mrs. Erma Pauline Fondren Deal.  She departed from this life on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at her residence in Fox.  


Bobbie was raised between Marlow and Healdton attending school there.  She married Bige Emerson "Happy" Morgan on April 2, 1955, at Countyline and primarily resided there as well.  Bobbie worked outside her home doing mainly cafe work, working for Millie's Cafe at Countyline for a number of years and had also worked at the Healdton Nursing Home as a cook.  Her favorite hobby was quilting, making them for everybody.  Bobbie and Cleo Lavalley made several baby quilts to give away and donated several to cancer victims, fire department, and many organizations for charity.  She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Healdton and had attended the Countyline Freewill Baptist Church. 


Preceding her in death was her husband, Bige "Happy" Morgan on December 12, 1994.  Also preceding her were her parents; infant son, Earl; grandson, Darrell Morgan; and sisters, Billye Sweetman and Jayne Irwin. 


Bobbie is survived by daughters, Clista McCarty of Healdton, Vicki Poor of Fox; Ronda Perkins and husband Lucas of Healdton; and Laura Pickelsimer and husband Mitchell of Fox; son, Richard Morgan of Fox; sisters, Vera Beck and husband James of Duncan and Betty Sweetman of Chickasha; brothers, Robert "Butch" Deal of Healdton and Buddy Deal of Healdton; 7 grandchildren, Joe Bill and wife Regina, Derek and wife Angela, Stephanie, Carla, Michael and wife Coralie, Brittany, and Ashley and husband Billy; 14 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. 


Pallbearers will be Derek Shrader, Stephen Carroll, Michael Pickelsimer, Billy Rucker, Daniel Dunigan, and Ray Smart. 

Honorary bearers will be Richard Morgan, Hunter Carroll, Steve Ramming, Joe Bill Dunigan, Lucas Rucker and Jude Burton.


Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6-8 P.M. at Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Ratliff City.
