Memorial services for Bobbie Jean Burch, 76, of Ratliff City are scheduled for 3 p.m. Friday, October 28, 2011, at the Shell Street Church of Christ in Healdton with Danny Huntsman officiating. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Funeral Home & Crematory of Ratliff City.
Bobbie was born December 19, 1934, at Wilson, Oklahoma to John and Alden (Carlton) Gay. She departed from this life October 24, 2011 at her home in Ratliff City.
Bobbie was raised in the Wilson, Zaneis and Ringling area attending school at Union Hill. She married at an early age and had four children. She resided in Tussy all of her adult life. She worked several occupations, including being a bus driver and working at Hager Pants Factory. Her family was always first. She made sure her children were always involved in sports, FFA and scouting. She enjoyed taking the kids fishing, picking up pecans and she always made sure they attended church. She was currently a member of the Shell Street Church of Christ.
Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and four brothers.
She is survived by three sons, Jackie Wayne Wright and wife, Rita Ann Bucher, Lockeford,California, Stephen Keith Wright, Waxahachie,Texas and Johnny Glenn Wright, Waxahachie, Texas; a daughter, Jeannie Sue Wiggins, Denton, Texas and good friend and companion Wendall Whaley, Duncan, sister Gracie, California; seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Numerous other family and friends.
Honorary bearers will be grandsons: Zachary Wright, Brandon Wright and Tommy Wright.
