Funeral Services for Mr. Billy Dunlap Van Eaton, 58 of Ardmore, is scheduled for 2:00PM Saturday , October 29, 2011 at the Alexander Funeral Home Chapel in Wilson his brother, Charlie Van Eaton officiating. Interment will follow at Simon Cemetery south of Wilson. Services are under the direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.
Billy was born May 27, 1953 at Ardmore to the late Mr. Charles Winfield “C.W.” Van Eaton and Mrs. Elsye Ve (Dunlap) Van Eaton. He departed this life Thursday October 27, 2011 at Ardmore.
Billy was a native to Ardmore living here most of his years. He graduated from Ardmore High School in 1971 and soon attended college at the University of Arkansas where he studied business. Billy was an avid Rancher all of his adult life. He loved ranching and enjoyed raising cattle. He married the former Judy Hodges on September 27, 2007 at Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
Billy and Judy enjoyed travelling many places together. Billy loved spending time in the mountains. He and his son Matthew also travelled together and climbed the Teton Mountain Range of Wyoming in 2003. He is a member of the First United Methodist Church of Ardmore.
Preceding him in death is his Parents.
Survivors include his wife Judy of the home; Son, Matthew Charles Van Eaton of Dallas; Step Son, Donny Hacker and wife Heather of Healdton; Step Daughter, Angie Munholland and husband Greg of Wilson; Siblings, Mary Ellen Gillespie and husband Eddie of Charleston, SC, Charlie Van Eaton of Auburn, AL and Ann Crosby and husband Ron of Ardmore; Grandchildren, Lilly Hacker, Samuel and Owen Munholland; Mother In Law, Bonnie Hodges of Wilson; Numerous nieces and nephews and other family and a host of friends
Pallbearers will Matthew Van Eaton, Donny Hacker, Greg Munholland, William Crosby, Charlie Crosby, and Justin Battles.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be sent to the Simon Cemetery Fund in care of Alexander Funeral Home 1302 7th St. Wilson, OK 73463.
Family visitation will be Friday evening from 6-8 pm at the funeral home in Wilson.
