Ringling - Funeral Services for Mr. Billy Dale Morris, 88, lifelong resident of Ringling, are scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2015 at the Gospel Tabernacle of Ringling with Jimmy Morris and Lafon Glenn officiating. Interment will follow at the Ringling Memorial Cemetery of Ringling. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Ringling.
Billy was born on December 27, 1926 at Ringling to the late Mr. Terry Floyd Morris and Mrs. Jessie (Newby) Morris. He departed this life Thursday, Nov. 5, 2015 at his daughter’s residence in Ringling.
Billy always resided at Ringling. He and the former Alpha Alice Wade were united in marriage on June 16, 1945 at Clarence McGowan’s home in Ringling. Billy was a truck driver most of his working years. He hauled cattle, seed and other goods all over the country, always residing at Ringling. He also owned and operated Morris Feed & Seed of Ringling until retiring in the 90's. After his retirement he continued to always help out at the feed store delivering feed. Everyday Billy enjoyed feeding his chickens and his cats. He and Alpha were married for 70 years and she most recently preceded him in death on Sept. 30, 2015. Billy was a longtime fireman of the Ringling Fire Dept and enjoyed attending church at the Gospel Tabernacle of Ringling.
In addition to Alpha, also preceding him in death were his Parents; sisters, Gertie, Zona and Dorothy; brothers, J.T. "Buddy", Dana, James, Ivan and 1 infant brother.
Survivors include his daughter, Cathy Tomberlin and husband Tony of Ringling; 2 grandchildren, Amy Tolliver and husband Bobby of Ringling and Tony Dale Tomberlin and wife Mandy of Waurika; 6 great grandchildren, Bailey, Codi, Rayme, Dawson, Grayson and Kyson; numerous other family and friends.
Casket Bearers are Michael Morris, Jon Tolliver, Dustin Weatherly , Jimmy Wade, Scott Skinner, Trent Hammons and Shane Riley.
Honorary bearers are the Brothers of the Gospel Tabernacle and Mr. Jerry Dillard
A special thank you to Cross Timbers Hospice, especially, Dr. Lauren Southward, Brenda, Tina and Regina and all the nurses and staff of the Healdton Hospital for their kind felt care and support.

Family visitation will be held from 2 to 4 pm Sunday, Nov. 8, 2015 at Alexander Funeral Home of Ringling.
