Beverly Gordon Doss

Ardmore – Graveside Services for Mrs. Beverly Gordon (Hitt) Doss, 68, of Ringling are scheduled for 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery of Ardmore with Rev. Leonard Ezell officiating. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Ringling.

Beverly was born January 24, 1944 at Ardmore to the late Mr. Gordon Jesse Hitt and Mrs. Dorothy Mae (Hawkins) Hitt. She departed this life Sunday, October 28, 2012 at Ardmore, OK.

Beverly was raised in Ardmore attending school there. She and Mr. Bobby Dale Doss were united in marriage and they made their home in Ringling. Beverly was employed for the Social Security Administration of Ardmore for 20 years. After her retirement she worked side by side with husband Bob as the desk clerk and bookkeeper for Stroud Lumber Yard in Ringling, just retiring a few years ago. Beverly loved to travel and Shop. She enjoyed her animals and also enjoyed being with her family.

Preceding her in death Parents and brother Johnny Young Hitt.

Survivors include her husband, Mr. Bob Doss of Ardmore; Daughter, Kelly Doss of Ardmore; Sister, Barbara Sneed and husband Bill of Ardmore; Niece, Monica Bumgarner and husband John of Duncan; Great Nephew, Joshua and Great Niece, Marissa and a special cousin, Joyce Bean; Numerous other cousins family and friends.
