Betty Ann Pearson

August 14, 1941 — February 25, 2025

Betty Ann (Schlotzhauer), 83, of Ratliff City, was born August 14, 1941, at Oklahoma City, OK to the late Mr. Charles Boyd Schlotzhauer and Mrs. Betty Jane (DeTar) Stockman. She departed this life Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at her home in Ratliff City.

Betty met her devoted husband, Donald Pearson, Sr., during her youth in California, and together they built a beautiful life filled with wonderful memories. They were proud parents to three children, Donald Jr., Charlotte, and Jeanette, who will forever cherish the love and guidance their mother provided. The Pearson family eventually relocated to Oklahoma, where they first made their home in the Graham area before settling in Ratliff City. Betty dedicated most of her years to being a homemaker, nurturing her family with an unwavering spirit of devotion. Her loving nature shone brightly through her actions, as she took the time to spoil her beloved dogs and create a warm, inviting household. An avid gardener, Betty found joy in tending to her plants and flowers, creating vibrant and flourishing gardens that surrounded her home. From colorful blooms to a thriving vegetable garden, she enjoyed the beauty of the outdoors and the satisfaction that came from nurturing growth. As a mother, Betty was nothing short of extraordinary. Her warmth and kindness left a profound impact on her family, and her absence will be felt deeply in the hearts of all who knew her.

Preceding her in death are her parents, Charles and Betty; husband, Donald Pearson, Sr.; grandson, Justin Lawrence Figueroa.

Survivors include her children, Donald Pearson, Jr. and wife Connie of Ratliff City, Charlotte Holt of Springer, Jeanette Fields and husband Randy of Elmore City; brother, Charles Schlotzhauer of Wisconsin; grandchildren, Dustin Pearson and wife Heather, Alyssa Pearson, Jesse Figueroa, Chris Figueroa, Chelsea Bray-Hatton, April Fields, Crystal Taylor and husband Brandon; 11 great grandchildren; numerous other family and friends.
