Betty Lou Lee

Mrs. Betty Lou (Anderson) Lee, age 77, of Wilson, departed this life on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at Mercy Memorial Hospital in Ardmore. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Wilson. Interment will follow in Bomar Point Cemetery in Wilson. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson.

Betty was born on November 13, 1942 to the late Mr. Clarence Anderson and Mrs. Josephine (Hanshaw) Anderson in Cleveland, OH.

She had lived in many different places until moving to Wilson over 35 years ago. Betty was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking especially making homemade jelly, jams, cooking for her family, and drinking coffee. Betty was an animal lover and always loved her dogs. She was an Elvis fan and would always tell about meeting him and always loved watching the “Rock” on television.

Mrs. Lee was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Owen Henry Long; son, Owen Long; daughters, Beverly Gregory and Cindy Cabrera; grandson, Ewart (Woody) Wood Smith III, Jeffery Moore; and Andrew; granddaughter, Angel Smith; nine brothers and sisters; and a grandson Owen Henry Long III who passed away two days after her.

Betty is survived by her sons, Charles Gregory of Wilson, Cecil Long and Cyndee of Scotland, TX; Billy Martin and Lindsey of Arcadia, OK, Leo Gregory and Mary of Newalla, OK, and Chris Lee of Waurika; daughters, Betty Smith of Wilson; Regina Gomez and Jaime of Waurika; 2 sisters; one brother; 32 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Nathan Paul Sanders, Robert Gomez, Nichoals Gomez, Noah Gomez, Matthew Martin, and Shea Hutcherson.

Honorary pallbearer will be Kevin Barnes.

Family visitation will be Monday evening 6-8 P.M. at Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson.
