Wilson - Graveside services for Mrs. Betty Lou (Phillips) Hefner, 87 of Wilson are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Reck Cemetery with Bro. Chad Walker officiating. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson.

Betty was born May 3, 1933 in BlackJack, Ok to the late Mr. Warren Phillips and Mrs. Minnie (Webb) Phillips. She departed from this life on Monday, February 22, 2021 in Wilson.

Betty was raised 10 miles south of town where she attended school at Post Oak. She married Mr. Carl Wesley Hefner in April of 1954 in Gainesville, TX. He preceded her in death on October 3, 2003. They lived in Wilson all of their life where Betty was a devoted homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, listening to music and gardening in her younger years.

Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, Carl; granddaughter, Tammy; sister, Billie Blodgett; and a brother, Jack Phillips.

Betty is survived by her daughters, Linda King and husband Perry of Ardmore and Brenda Emerson and husband Meril of Wilson; son, Carl "Ronnie" Hefner of Nashville, TN and by a host of other family and friends.
