Ringling - Funeral Services for Mrs. Betty Lou (Carroll) Hawkins, 90 of Ringling are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Alexander Funeral Home Chapel in Ringling with Ronnie Carroll officiating. Interment will follow to Ringling Memorial Cemetery. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Ringling.

Betty was born May 31, 1928 in Orr, OK to the late Mr. Roy L. Carroll and Mrs. Mattie Leona (Wallace) Carroll. She departed from this life on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at her home in Ringling.

Betty was raised at Orr as one of 11 children. She married A.J. Hawkins on January 17, 1944 at Ringling by Rev. Cumby. Shortly afterwards, A.J. was drafted into the Army during WWII and Betty remained at her parents home. They made their home here all of there lives together. Betty worked outside the home at the Pants Factory and also local nursing homes. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ.

Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, A.J.; sisters, Oleta Brandon, Shirley Hunt and Dorothy (Carroll) Lyle; brothers, Jack, Benny, Bobby, Danny, Kenneth "Sonny" and Tommy Carroll; and a granddaughter, Daphne Hawkins.

Betty is survived by her sons, Dennis Hawkins of Ringling and Donnie Hawkins and wife Phyllis of Ringling; sister, Mary Williams of Springer; grandchildren, Greg Hawkins and wife Jennifer of Ringling, Casey Hawkins of Lawton, Chas Carter of Lawton, and Leaha Stroud and husband Wes of Ringling; great grandchildren, Ashtyne Hawkins, Paeton Hawkins, Tesla and Tyler Young, Kyle Hawkins, Jordan Jones, Kaci Hawkins, Michael and Leaha Carter, and Harper Stroud; great great grandchildren, Wyatt and Morgan Rhodes, Kasyn Doss and Hadlee Young, Logan Coleman, Rhyker Hawkins; and a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Greg Hawkins, Casey Hawkins, Chas Carter, Leaha Stroud, Kyle Hawkins and Michael Carter. Honorary bearers will be Paeton Hawkins, Tesla Young, Ashtyne Hawkins, Leaha Carter and Sammy Lyle.

A family visitation is scheduled for 6-8 P.M. Tuesday evening at Alexander Funeral Home in Ringling.
