Becky Lynn Conway

Funeral Services for Mrs. Becky Lynn Conway, 61 of Cheek are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Sunday, February 26, 2017 at Emmanuel Baptist Church with Rev. Morgan Ashworth officiating. Interment will follow to Cheek Cemetery. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home in Wilson.

Mrs. Becky Lynn Conway was born in Ardmore to the late Mr. Billy “Bill” Jerald Newman and Mrs. Mildred Jo (Rutledge) Newman. She departed from this life on Wednesday. February 22, 2017 in Cheek.

Becky was raised at Lone Grove graduating from Lone Grove High School in 1974. She married Larry Conway on June 21, 1974 at Cheek Baptist Church. They made their home in Lone Grove and were blessed with Kim, Lisa and Bryan. Becky worked for Lone Grove Public Schools as support personnel. She loved serving her church and community. Becky was a long time supporter of 4-H and FFA. She was a lifetime member of the Cheek Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death is her father, Bill in April 12, 2014; mother in law, Juanita Conway on February 12, 2015 and her grandparents.

Becky is survived by her mother, Mildred Newman; husband, Larry of the home; children, Kim Davidson, her husband Derek and their children, Lauren and Layne of Grandfield, Lisa Prickett, husband Charlie and their daughter, Adelyn of Broken Arrow and Bryan Conway, wife Melanie and their children, Hunter and Aubrey of Lone Grove; siblings, Charlie Newman and wife Cindy of Mesquite, TX, Harold Newman and wife Sandra of Cheek and Donna Steele and husband Mike of Ardmore.

Casket bearers will be Gary McBride, Brent Newman, Reece Conway, Jason Conway, Jeston Gilliam, Ethan Newman, Gavin Newman, Cody Steele, Nathan Rutledge and Ryan Rutledge.

Family will be receiving friends and loved ones from 6-8 P.M. Saturday evening at Alexander Funeral Home in Wilson. Memorial donations may be made to Cross Timbers Hospice or the Cheek Baptist Church.
