Glynn Baker and Sister Ellen Abshire officiating. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Ringling.
Barbara was born on August 10, 1936 at Palmer, TX to the late Mr. James David Martin and Mrs. Betsy Daisy (Forbes) Martin. She went to her heavenly home Sunday, May 28, 2017.
Barbara was raised in Ringling graduating from the last class of Mountain Home in 1956. She married Mr. William Paul Musick on August 17, 1956 at Dallas, TX. They made their home initially in Dallas where they were employed. At this time, Barbara worked within the Insurance business as a receptionist. They soon were blessed with two sons, Bill and Ricky. Barbara was a devout Mother. Although she held many titles through places of employment, the most important to her was being an Evangelist. Barbara shared the Gospel everywhere she went and prayed for anyone in need. She was raised attending Brush Arbor revivals with her parents and she always said "that right wins out every time". Her husband Paul preceded her in death on Nov. 17, 2009 and since then she has stayed involved within the activities at Ringling and her church. She was a faithful member of the Church of God and Divine Order for as long as her health allowed.
Also preceding her in death are her Parents; sister, Rubye Jean Allen; brothers, James Harold "Jr" Martin and Anthony Ray "Andy" Martin and a granddaughter, Mandy Gail Musick.
Survivors include her Sons, William "Bill" Loyd Musick and wife Linda and Ricky Paul Musick and wife Misty, both of Ringling; sister, Patsy Ruth Spriggs and husband Ronnie of Waxahachie, TX; grandchildren, Laura Louise Musick, Mindy L.
