Bane Bigbie

Bane Bigbie, 84, of Ringling, passed away Thursday, November 17 at Oklahoma Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City surrounded by his family. Bane was born August 21, 1927 in Ardmore, OK to Clarence and Jewell Bigbie. He graduated from Tipton High School in 1945 and then served in the U.S. Coast Guard. He married Wilma Katheryn Winn in 1947 and they made their home in Ringling, OK. Wilma preceded him in death in 1985. He then married Faye Allread in 1987. He was in the cattle and insurance industries. He is preceded in death by his brothers Gene and Burke. Bane is survived by his wife Faye of the home, his children Bane Bigbie and wife Melanie, Kathi Trent and husband Randall, Rocky Bigbie and wife Laurie, Stacy Woodroof and husband Jon, sister Patricia Kelly, step-daughter Sue Grissom and husband Sonny and their children and grandchildren, 11 grandchildren, 5 great-grandboys, and many close friends. Memorial services will be held Saturday, November 19 at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Ringling, OK. Donations in lieu of flowers can be sent to Ringling First Baptist Church.
