Arlyn Jennett Juergens

Mrs. Arlyn Jennett (Carnett) Juergens, age 74, of Healdton, departed this life on Monday, April 15, 2019 at her residence in Healdton. Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Friday, April 19, 2019 at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Wilson with Bro. Mike Johnston officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Pauls Valley, OK. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson.

Arlyn was born to the late Mr. William “Bill” Marian Carnett and Mrs. Molly Marie (Cox) Carnett on January 15, 1945 in Miami, AZ.

She was raised in Arizona and lived there throughout her childhood years. She met Bob Ivie and moved to Oklahoma and they were soon married. Together they raised their children here until his passing. She then married Fred Juergens. Arlyn went to beauty school and became a hairdresser and she also drove a city bus in Phoenix, AR. She loved her family and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Some of her hobbies were painting and crocheting. She would make all kinds of crochet items for people she knew.

Mrs. Juergens is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Bob Ivie, and Fred Juergens.

Arlyn is survived by her sons, Robert Frank Ivie, Jr. and wife Terri of Decatur, TX; Paul Ivie and Janet of Healdton; daughter, Ruby Ann Ivie and spouse Jeanie Fannell of Oklahoma City; sisters, Peggy Grendell of Ardmore, Mary E. Day of Ardmore, Linda Cottrel of Healdton, Betty Yarmon of Tuscon, AZ, and LuAnn Stuart of Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Aubree Pittman, Bobby Ivie, Matthew Ivie, Eric Harris and Alex Evans; Many other relatives and a host of friends.

Pallbearers will be Chance Cottrell, Willy Cottrell, Nathiel Cottrell, Cadon Cox, Jessei Pittman and Mikey Justis.
