Wilson – Mrs. Annie Wanell (Martin) Williams, age 87, departed this life on Saturday, April 7, 2018 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Tuesday – April 10, 2018 at the Alexander Funeral Home Chapel in Wilson with Rev. Roy Rodgers officiating. Interment will follow in the Bomar Point Cemetery in Wilson. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.
Annie was born on January 16, 1931 in Hannah, OK to the late Mr. George Martin and Mrs. Gertrude (Pendley) Martin.
Mrs. Williams attended the Sulphur School for the deaf for 10 years. She was passionate about teaching sign language to others. Annie married the love of her life Mr. Albert D. Williams and they made their home in Wilson where they raised their family. She always had a smile on her face and a little spunk to her step. Mrs. Williams enjoyed coloring and in her earlier years sewing. Mrs. Williams also loved getting out and going shopping. Annie was a member of the First Baptist Church in Wilson. She loved her family and will be truly missed by her children and grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, Albert D. Williams; infant son, Ronnie Lee Williams; grandson, Micheal D. Williams; daughter, Vickie Nolan and son-in-law, Tom Nolan; sister, Edna Rodgers; brothers, Jack, Cecil, Leonard, and Lloyd Martin; and great-grandson John Mitchell.
Annie is survived by her daughters, Jackie Hutsell and husband Rex of Dayton, WA, Carla Blankenship and husband Jimmy of Wynnewood; sons, Wayne Mitchell and significant other Sharon Shook of Dayton, WA, Lee A. Wiliams of Reno, NV, Kenneth Williams and wife Tracey of Kingston, OK; brothers, Hershal Martin and Floyd Martin; sisters, Betty Cousins and Virginia Smith, 20 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, 4 great - great grandchildren, Many neices, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Ivron McClendon, Ryan Rankin, Donny Blankenship, John Cousins, Jesse Northam, and Brandon Williams.
Honorary Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
Viewing will be from 11A.M. until 8P.M. Monday at Alexander Funeral Home in Wilson.
