Wilson – Funeral Services for Mrs. Anna Maxine Cross, 81 , of Wilson is scheduled for 11:00 AM Saturday, November 26, 2011 at the Alexander Funeral Home Chapel of Wilson with Pastor Prophet Vinson officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Olive Cemetery of Healdton.

Anna was born December 31, 1929 at Crawford, NE to the late Mr. Olie Harley Olson and Mrs. Orpha (Lowder) Olson. She passed away Sunday, November 20, 2011 at Healdton, OK.

Anna was raised as the 5th of six children. She helped raise her siblings living in Pennsylvania. She and Mr. Nathan Eugene “Gene” Cross were united in marriage on August 20, 1956 at Wichita Falls, TX. They lived in both Oklahoma and Texas Ranches, lastly residing on the Hefner Ranch at Pinto before moving to Wilson in 1988. Gene preceded her in death on December 23, 2003. Anna loved Arts and Crafts and enjoyed painting by numbers. She was always a great cook who always had the best banana nut bread.

In addition to her husband Gene, also preceding her in death is her Parents; and Daughter, Barbara Williams; Siblings, Leo, Douglas, Lee Merton, Irene, and Albert.

Survivors include Daughter, Pam Cross of Wynnewood; Son, Russ Hunter and wife Sunny of Piedmont; 6 Grandchildren, Shelly, Summer, Joe Kyle, Rusty, Candy, and Justin; Great Grandchildren, Morgan, Joe Lee, Hagen, and Joni. Numerous other family and friends.

Pallbearers are Justin Wells, Frankie Williams, Joe Williams, Rusty Williams, Denni Navin, and Jimmy Williams.

Honorary Bearers are Morgan Powell and Joe Lee Williams.

Family visitation will be 6-8 pm Friday evening at the funeral home in Wilson.
