Anna Lenora Stewart

Ringling – Funeral Services for Mrs. Anna Lenora (Bracken) Stewart, aged 54, of Ringling are set to take place at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at the Church of Jesus Christ Gospel Tabernacle with Bro. Joe Taylor presiding and Bro. Billy Holder assisting. The burial will follow at Ringling Cemetery. The arrangements are being handled with and reverence by Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Ringling.

Anna graced this world on July 30, 1970, as the daughter of Mr. Gary Dean Bracken and Mrs. Donna Marie (Triebel) Bracken. She peacefully departed on Monday, August 5, 2024, at her residence in Ringling.

At the tender age of eight, Anna settled in Ringling where she later graduated from Ringling High School. She found companionship in marriage with Mike Stewart and was blessed with two sons, Sonny and Blue. Subsequently, she found joy alongside Kent Porterfield and was doubly blessed with two daughters, K’Ann and Kendi. One of Anna’s proudest accomplishments was her attendance at Radiology Tech School in Wichita Falls which led to her compassionate service in various hospitals. Beyond her professional pursuits, Anna cherished moments spent fishing, riding horses, driving the backroads, and helping people.  Anna was a hard worker who loved rescuing animals, but mostly enjoyed spending time with her family.

Preceding her in passing were her infant sister Tina Marie Bracken and her beloved mothers-in-law Pamela Inez Miller and Deloris “Blond” Stewart.

Left to cherish memories of her life are her devoted spouse Kent Porterfield; her children Sonny Lane Stewart (Katy) of Ringling, Blue Skye Stewart (Sarah) of Ardmore, K’Ann Porterfield, and Kendi Porterfield both residing at home; her loving parents Gary and Donna Bracken of Ringing; a cherished granddaughter Hadly Stewart; brothers William Bracken (Monica) of Crystal, and Bobby Bracken of Ringling; sisters Carrie Bracken (James) and LaDonna Bracken both of Ringling; numerous nieces, nephews; as well as a multitude of other family members and dear friends.

Acting as pallbearers during the services will be Sonny Stewart, Bobby Bracken, Cole Lockwood, Blue Stewart, William Bracken, and Mike Stewart. Honorary bearers paying tribute will include Gary Bracken along with several others who held a special place in Anna’s heart.

A visitation is scheduled for Friday evening from 6-8 P.M. at Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Ringling where those who wish to pay their respects may do so.
