Angela Gay Turner

Wilson- Memorial Services for Angela Gay Turner, 54, are scheduled for 6:30 P.M. Thursday, April 27, 2023 at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Wilson. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Gray Crematory of Ringling.

Angela was born August 9, 1968 in Ardmore,OK. She departed this life Sunday, April 23, 2023, in Oklahoma City, OK.

Angela was raised in Wilson most of her life attending school there. She went on to further her education in many fields such as Cosmetology, Phlebotomy, and Massage Therapy. Angela married Mr. Allen Tibbs in 1983, at Ardmore and to this union she was blessed with two sons, Brock and Derek who she loved dearly. Later while working as a Cosmetologist and Massage Therapist in Wilson, she began a relationship with Johnny Turner, the love of her life. Angela married Johnny on February 10, 2018, at the Arbuckle Wedding Chapel in Davis, OK. The couple made their home in Lone Grove and developed a nationally registered Butterfly Conservatory because of her love for butterflies. Angela was quite an entrepreneur, as she had numerous occupations. She owned and operated Native Spirit Pharms Grow and also Cameo Gold, LLC Dispensary. Angela enjoyed taking trips that always included her grandkids, Baylor and Creed, along with nieces and nephew, Lexi, Rose, and Jack. She was the most amazing Grams to her grandbabies and had the most genuine and caring soul.

Preceding her in death are her grandparents, Bobby and Zumma Butcher and her Dad, Jack Butcher.

Survivors include her husband, Johnny Turner of the home; sons, Brock Tibbs and wife Kristi of Wilson, and Derek Tibbs of Healdton; mother, Brenda Anderson of Lebanon; brothers, Jim Butcher and wife Amanda of Lindsey, TX and Daniel Butcher and wife Brandy of Wilson; grandchildren, Baylor Tibbs and Creed Tibbs; Angela’s babies, Sabbath Turner and Fancy Turner; numerous nieces, nephews, other family and hundreds of friends.
