Healdton - Memorial services for Alvin "Al" Keith Bridges, 77, of Healdton, are scheduled for 1:00 PM on Monday, November 25, 2024, at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Healdton, with Bro. Scott Renfro officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Seaman First Class, Billy Turner Veteran Memorial Cemetery in Ardmore, Oklahoma.

Alvin was born on June 27, 1947, in Wilson to the late Willie Francis Bridges and Winnie Ellen (Tedder) Bridges. He passed away on November 18, 2024, in Oklahoma City.

Raised in Wilson, Alvin graduated with the class of 1965 and served in the United States Air Force, enlisting on August 18, 1966. As a munition systems specialist, he honorably served during the Vietnam War and received an honorable discharge on August 17, 1970. Following his military service, Alvin returned to the area and worked at Uniroyal/Michelin, where he retired after 38 years of dedicated service. He married his cherished wife, Lonita (Elmore) Bell, on May 27, 2000, at the East Lincoln Church of Christ in Healdton. Alvin had a passion for the outdoors, delighting in hunting and fishing, as well as appreciating nature through observation. He enjoyed hands-on projects and was always eager to learn more.

Preceding him in death were his parents; a stillborn brother, James Marion Bridges; and sister, V. Jean (Bridges) Miller.

Alvin is survived by his wife Lonita; children Kevin Bridges and wife Jenny of Allen, TX; Jama Bell and partner Karen Seibert of Oklahoma City, OK; Matt Bell and partner Marci Campbell of Norman, OK; and Molly Cardwell and husband Matt of Piedmont, OK. He is also survived by his brothers, Doyle Bridges and wife Dee of Oklahoma City, OK, and Wil Bridges and wife Carolyn of Norman, OK; and grandchildren Jacob Bridges, Zackery Bridges, Emma Bell, Carsyn Cardwell, Tate Cardwell, Griffin Cardwell, Ally Andrews, Alexa Andrews, and Bee Andrews. As well as several special nieces and nephews, family members and a host of friends. Additionally, he will be missed by his loyal canine companion, Buster.

A visitation will take place at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Healdton from noon to 1 PM prior to the service.
