Alvie "Billy Jo" Bruce Reynolds

Alvie Bruce "Billy Jo" Reynolds of Ardmore, departed this life on Sunday, March 28, 2021 at Whispering Oaks Nursing Center in Ardmore at the age of 88 years, 2 months, and 25 days. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Wilson with Rev. Terry Tolbert officiating. Interment will follow in the Ringling Memorial Cemetery in Ringling, OK.

Billy Jo was born on January 3, 1933 to the late Mr. P.D. Reynolds and Mrs. Opal Lee (Strawn) Reynolds in Wilson, OK.

He was raised in Southern Oklahoma and spent his entire life in the area. He attended school at Rexroat. Billy was a kind person that was always willing to help others. He was a hard worker and enjoyed working at Gibsons for many years in Ardmore in maintenance and the pharmacy. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Ardmore.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents and sister in law Gail Odom.

He is survived by his brother, George Odom of Ringling; cousins, Linda Hunziker and husband Roy of Wilson, Bill Strawn of Duncan, Betty Monroe and husband Bill of Ardmore, Beatrice Harris of Pruitt City, and Irene Stewart of Oklahoma City, OK; nephews, Blair Odom and wife Michelle of Ardmore, Johnny Adkins of Ardmore; nieces, Vicky Crowley and husband Mark of Ardmore, Connie Brown of Blanchard; and many other relatives and a host of friends.

Viewing will be from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.
