Alene Thompson

Healdton - Graveside Rites for Alene Thompson, 67, formerly of this area is scheduled for 11:00 AM Wed. September 18, 2013 at the Mount Olive Cemetery of Healdton. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Funeral Home of Ringling.

Alene was born on September 23, 1945 at Pruitt City, OK to the late Mr. Andrew Jackson Thompson and Mrs. Alta Emily (Wells) Thompson. She departed this life on Monday, September 16, 2013 at Midwest City.

Alene was raised in this are residing initially at Pruitt City and then later at Rexroat. For the majority of her life she has been a resident of the Oklahoma City area residing in a Group Home. She loved to write everything down and enjoyed painting by numbers. She always had an excellent memory and was a devoted Christian who always enjoyed reading her Bible.

Preceding her in death is her Parents; Sister, Oma Pierce and a Brother, Ray Thompson.

Survivors include her 2 Brothers, Wayne Thompson and wife Darlene of Crescent and Charles Thompson and wife Hester of McCloud; 5 Sisters, Pat Wilson of Ringling, JoAnn Max of Belvidere, TN, Virginia Whitener of Ringling, Shirley Redmon and husband Bill of Orr and Twin Sister, Irene Lansford and husband Lester of Lawton; Numerous nieces and nephews and other family.
