Albert Randell Copeland

Ringling – Services for Mr. Albert “Randy” or “Catfish” Copeland, 62, are scheduled for 2:00 PM Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Alexander Funeral Home Chapel in Ringling with Rev. Mike Williams officiating. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home & Crematory of Ringling.

Randy was born December 13, 1952 at Comanche, Oklahoma to the late Mr. Albert Copeland and Mrs. Wanda Mae (Ward) Copeland. He departed this life Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Ardmore.

Randy was raised in Ringling graduating from Ringling High School in 1972. After High School, Randy attended college at Oklahoma State University where he received a Masters Degree in Agriculture. Most of Randy’s working years were spent working for BJ Oilfield Services as a supervisor. He was employed there for 20 years, later working for CUDD out of Seminole. Randy also owned and operated a hot shot transport business. He was always a very quiet and patient man who was exceedingly good hearted. He always loved to cook outside, work in his garden, and spend time with his pets.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Wanda Copeland; grandparents, Francis Leona and Willis Vernon Ward, Henry and Maggie Copeland and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins

Survivors include a sister, Letha McDaniel and husband Henry of Ringling; nieces; Courtney (McDaniel) Thompson and her children Levi, Lukas, and Jaxon Thompson and Daytona and Carolina McNeely; Vicki Rector of Des Moines, IA and Amber McDaniel of Akron, Ohio; nephew, Henry “Buzz” McDaniel and Melissa; Aunts; Betty Baker of Ringling and Topsey Bigelow of Sacramento, CA; other nieces; Hallie McDaniel – Black and husband Boedy and their son Brentlee and Skyler Renfro- Mims and husband Trae and their son Kye; also a nephew, Braden McDaniel and wife Andrea and their Mother, Heather Renfro; special cousins, Betty and Roy Lyle of Healdton; canine companion, Moe of the home and two very special nurses, Bryan Starr and Jennifer Peoples; numerous other family and friends.

Pallbearers are his cousins.

Honorary Pallbearers are Howard Worley, Jim Bill Tolbert, Steven Thompson, Paul Worley, and Miguel Renteria.

Family visitation will be Wednesday from 5-7 PM at the Alexander Funeral Home of Ringling.
