Agatha Ann Richardson

Funeral Service for Mrs. Agatha Ann (Copeland) Richardson are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Saturday, February 11, 2017 at the First Baptist Church in Wilson with the Rev. Jason Williams officiating and Rev. Mark Fuller assisting. Interment will follow to Hewitt Cemetery in Wilson. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.

Mrs. Agatha Ann (Copeland) Richardson was born November 23, 1954 to the late Mr. Jimmy H Copeland and Mrs. Hazel Leah Wood in Wilson, OK. She departed from this life on February 9, 2017 at her home in Wilson.

Agatha was raised in Wilson graduating from Wilson High School in 1973. She married Mr. Jerry Richardson on April 20, 1973 in Ardmore. Agatha was baptized at the Rosehill Baptist Church. She loved to sew and do crafts. Agatha enjoyed watching Ali’s and Jacob’s ballgames and she never missed one.

Preceding her in death are her parents, Jim and Hazel Copeland.

Agatha is survived by her husband Jerry of the home; daughter, Abby Richardson of Wilson; son, Bobby Richardson of Wilson; grandchildren, Rylie, Ryanne, Jacob and Alisha; special niece who was like a daughter, Ali Davis; Tonya Braden who was also like a daughter; sisters, Marvelle Story of Ardmore, Loretta Parrott and husband Eddy of Lone Grove, Deloris Gray and husband Roger of Wilson, Anita Davis of Wilson and Belinda Self and husband Scott of Leon; brothers, James Copeland and wife Shirley of Wilson and Herman Copeland and wife Sandi of Wilson and other numerous family and friends.

Casket bearers are Johnny Sullivan, Jackie Davis, Jeremy Davis, Justin Davis, Mike Copeland, Brad Gray and Ryan White. Honorary bearers will be remaining nephews.

A family visitation is scheduled for Friday evening from 6-8 P.M. at Alexander Funeral Home in Wilson.

In lieu of flowers, the family requested donations be made to Cross Timbers Hospice or the First Baptist Church of Wilson.
