Services for Abbie Elizabeth Tedder, 39, of Overbook are scheduled for 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at Alexander Gray Funeral Chapel of Wilson with Zane Gray officiating. Interment will follow at the Crinerville cemetery next to her grandfather, Travis Phillips.

Abbie was born on Jan. 19, 1984, at Ardmore to Eddie Wesley Tedder, Jr. And Kathy Renee Phillips. She left this world on Monday July 3, 2023, at her home in Overbrook.

From the moment Abbie was born her grandfather, Travis Phillips nicknamed her” Duck”, because of her perceived long feet when she was a baby. This nickname” Duck” has always been her family nickname. Abbie was alumni of Lone Grove High School Class of 2002, graduating with honors. While in school she never played any sports,  always being “too girly”. She was a computer whiz and when she graduated from high school, she initially gained a brief employment with Bluebonnet, before becoming employed as an administrative assistant for the tribal government. Lastly, she was employed with the Southern Oklahoma Mental Health Services of Ardmore as the office manager.

Abbie was a Christian believing in Jesus Christ and always had a humorous character. In school, she was referenced as being a comedian and always had a deep affection for her canine companion named Darla. Abbie was a quiet soul who kept to herself privately and loved others very deeply. She will be missed immensely by all that knew her.

She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Travis Phillips and her grandmother, Billie Sandra Tedder.

Survivors include her canine daughter, Darla of the home; brother, Dillan John Stinson; mother, Kathy Phillips; father, Eddie Tedder, Jr. and wife Marty; grandmother, Mary Phillips; grandfather, Eddie Wesley Tedder, Sr.; aunts, Becky Fincher and husband Mike, Brenda Gandy Jones and husband Mike and Brandy Tedder; uncle, Tony Phillips and wife Pam; niece, Zayna Grace Stinson;  numerous other family and friends.

Casket bearers will be Chris Phillips, Nathan Fincher, Scott Phillips, Matthew Mutz, Dillan Stinson and Britton Phillips.

Honorary Bearers are Tony Phillips, Mike Fincher and Eddie Wesley Tedder, Sr.
