Healdton - Private Services for Mr. Steven Eugene Wright, 56, of Healdton are scheduled at the Ryan Cemetery with Pastor Ellen Abshire officiating. Services are under the care of Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Healdton 65 Golf Course Rd. .

Steve was born on Nov. 2, 1963 at Norman to Mr. Freddie Eugene Wright and Mrs. Sandra Kay (Davis) Wright. He departed this life on Thursday April 2, 2020 at his home in Healdton.

Steve was raised in southern Oklahoma, graduating from Fox High School in 1981. Upon graduation he began lifelong career in the Oil patch working for several well servicing companies within the area, working a lot with Sutherlands and lastly with Kleen Oilfield Services.

He married the former Susan Hatcher and to this union, 3 children were born. Years later, Steve would marry again to the former, Amanda Bates on June 14, 2001 at Gainesville, TX. To this union they were blessed with two more children and Steve also gained a bonus daughter.

When Steve wasn't working he always enjoyed hunting and fishing and watching OU football. He attended and was a member of the Church of God Fellowship in Ringling.

He is preceded in death by father, Eugene in 1989.

Survivors include his wife Amanda of the home; mother, Sandra Smith of Healdton; sons, Coby Wright and wife Carolyn of Tennessee, Clayton Wright and wife Anna of Oklahoma City and Jacob Wright of the home; daughters, Callie Wright and fiance' Raymond Newman of Ardmore, Alexis Adams and husband Ridge of Ardmore and Jadyn Wright of the home; sister, Kelly Follis and husband Darrell of Springer; parents in laws, Farrow and Dora Taylor of Healdton; three grandchildren on the way and numerous other family and friends .

Casket Bearers are Jimmy Taylor, Greg Bates, Raymond Newman, Jim Davis, Joe Kirkpatrick and Mark Mullins.
