Patsy Ruth Porterfield

Healdton - Funeral services for Patsy Ruth (Witt) Porterfield, 81, of Healdton are scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday, March 7,2022 at the Bethel Baptist Church of Healdton with Rev. Ron Elmore officiating and grandson, Chad Porterfield providing the eulogy. Interment will follow at Mount Olive Cemetery of Healdton. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Healdton.

Patsy was born March 16, 1940 at Ballinger, TX to the late Mr. Joseph "Joe" Mabry Witt and Mrs. George Eddie Mozzell (Ashlock) Witt. She went to her heavenly home Wed. March 2, 2022 at her home of Healdton.

Mrs. Porterfield was raised in Healdton where she graduated high school in 1958. She married the love of her life, Mr. Bobby Carl Porterfield on Jan. 24, 1959 at the Bethel Baptist Church. They continued to make their home in Healdton where Patsy worked some for Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. as a switchboard operator and as well at other various employments and lastly at the Wal Mart Bakery of Ardmore.

Most of all, Patsy was a dedicated and devoted homemaker and housewife to her family. She was always very faithful to the Bethel Baptist Church of Healdton, playing the piano there since the age of fourteen years old. She was an amazing cook who loved to read and was adored by her children and many grandchildren and will be missed deeply.

Preceding her in death are her parents, Joe and Eddie Witt; husband, Bobby , March 8, 2005; infant children, Shelia Hope, Bryan Craig and Laura Lynn; infant granddaughter, Hanna Jo Grimsley and a sister, Betty Jo Gordon.

Survivors include her children, Mike Porterfield and wife June of Buckhannon, WV, Kent Porterfield and Nancy Minyard of Healdton and Neta Grimsley and husband Robby of Atoka; sisters in laws, LaVerne Porterfield, Helen Hesson, Peggy and Walter Porterfield, Janie Porterfield Pearson and husband Perry, and Peggy Porterfield and husband Walter; grandchildren, Chad, Kara, Dillon, Kelsey, Devan, Coby, Daveigh, Laney, Dakota, Aubrey and Brylea; great grandchildren, Addi, Jack and Jayden; numerous other nieces, nephews and other family.

Casket bearers are Chad Porterfield, Dillon Porterfield, Jody Blodgett, Coby Grimsley, Joe Gordon and Kevin Wagner.

Honorary bearers are Richard and Bonnie Marrs, Johnny Gordon, Richard Hailey, Walter Porterfield, Elmer Knutter and Barbara Freeman.

Family visitation will be held from 5 to 7 pm Sunday evening at Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Healdton.
