Billy "Bill" Ray Pierce

Wilson - Funeral Services for Mr. Billy "Bill" Ray Pierce, 76, of Lone Grove are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Wilson with Rev. David Gardner officiating. Interment will follow to Newport Cemetery.

Bill was born July 18, 1945 in Oklahoma City, OK to the late Mr. Robert Bradford "R.B." Pierce and Mrs. Cleo Frances (Womack) Pierce. He departed from this life on Thursday, December 2, 2021 in Ardmore, OK.

Bill was raised in Healdton and Ardmore most of his life. He was enlisted in the United States Navy on July 10, 1968 where he was honorably discharged in 1969. Bill married the former Mrs. Sherrie Acox on August 4, 1973 in Ardmore. He worked for Michelin as a lab tech when he retired. Bill enjoyed fishing and hunting with his son and grandsons and he loved taking care of his cattle.

Preceding him in death were his parents; brother, Bob Pierce and his daughter, Melanie Richards in 2015.

Bill is survived by his loving wife, Sherrie of the home; son, Billy Ray Pierce, Jr. and wife Carol of Maud; daughters, Tammie Lewis of Colorado City, TX and Kim Clark of Colorado City, TX; brothers, Ronnie PIerce of Mannsville and Joe Pierce of Mannsville; grandchildren, Heather Pierce, Tera Grado and husband Jacob, Jake Richards, Billy Baker, Kaci Colbert and husband Dustin, Zeke Pierce and wife Kelsi, and Noah Pierce and wife Shay; great grandchildren, Bella, Cooper, Desten, Levi, Dieago, Luke, Roman, Kolbayne, Emersyn, Leighton, Liam, Ryland, Wyatt, and Everleigh; very close friend, J.D. Balthrop; and by a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Zeke Pierce, Noah Pierce, Kyle White, Billy Baker, Levi Grado, and Dieago Grado. Honorary bearers Alvin Hill and J.D. Balthrop.

Visitation will be held 6-8 P.M. Monday evening at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson.
